Winnipeg Airport (YWG) parking: rates compared
Prices checked: October 30, 2026. Every YWG rate below was copied from the Winnipeg Airports Authority's own YWG parking page on that date (waa.ca now redirects to ywg.ca). YWG says its prices include GST, which it calls the only applicable sales tax, and that online rates use dynamic pricing, so confirm the price for your dates before you go.
Quick comparison: 7, 14 and 30 days
YWG publishes daily and weekly rates only. The 7-day figures are YWG's published drive-up weekly rates. The 14- and 30-day figures are our own arithmetic: 14 days = 2 × the weekly rate, and 30 days = 4 × the weekly rate + 2 × the daily rate. YWG doesn't say how stays longer than a week are charged, and booking online may cost less.

What that means: the Economy Lot is the cheapest on-airport option at YWG, about $20 a week less than the Parkade at drive-up rates. Valet & Away costs about $64 a week more than the Economy Lot but has your car waiting at the curb when you get back. All three rates go up on January 4, 2027 (see below).
YWG parking options

Behind the Parkade, about a 5-7 minute walk to the terminal. YWG calls it the best rate within walking distance of the terminal, with family spots closest to the terminal. From January 4, 2027, the online rate goes to up to $27.00 a day and up to $119.00 a week.

Directly across from the terminal, about a 2-3 minute walk. It has covered stalls, family stalls and stalls close to the elevators and terminal walkway. Maximum vehicle height 2.2 m (7'2"). From January 4, 2027, the online rate goes to up to $35.00 a day and up to $148.00 a week, the same as drive-up.

You drop the car in front of the terminal on the Arrivals Level by Door 3, and it's waiting at the curb when you come back. YWG says valet customers also get priority line access at pre-board screening. From January 4, 2027, the online rate goes to up to $50.00 a day and $199.00 a week.
Free Cell Phone Lot
For pick-ups, YWG has a free Cell Phone Lot waiting area east of the terminal on Wellington Avenue. You must stay in your vehicle while you wait; your passenger can call you from one of the numbered pillars at the Arrivals curb.
Discounts and offers
YWG's parking page says booking online saves time and money and the booking form takes a promo code, but YWG doesn't list any specific discounts or promo codes on its parking page. At the posted rates, the only published online saving is on the Parkade weekly rate (up to $130.00 online vs $135.00 drive-up).
Winter plug-ins and EV charging
- Block heater plugs: YWG says complimentary block heater plugs are available in the Economy Lot and the Parkade.
- Battery boosts: boost packs are available at the Parking Cashier Booth, which is staffed 24/7.
- EV charging: YWG's parking page doesn't mention EV charging stations in its lots, so we haven't listed any.
Off-airport lots
Park'N Fly Winnipeg runs a Self Park lot at 881 Berry Street and an Indoor Valet at 820-A Berry Street, with a free 24/7 shuttle to the terminal. Its Winnipeg page doesn't publish Winnipeg rates; prices only show in its booking tool for your dates. (The "as low as $59.99 per week" Economy offer on that page sits under a heading about Toronto, so we haven't used it for Winnipeg.) Park'N Fly says EV charging is available at its Winnipeg Valet if you request it when you reserve or drop off, with a per-charge handling fee that it doesn't list.
We only list prices from an operator's own page. We found other lots near YWG only on booking and comparison sites, not on their own websites, so we haven't listed them. We'll add them if they publish rates.

Tips for YWG
- Rates go up January 4, 2027. If you're booking a trip for the new year, expect the 2027 rates in the tables above.
- Lost ticket: YWG charges the greater of one day at the Parkade rate or the total days parked at the applicable rate, based on its license plate records.
- Six-month limit: vehicles left in the Parkade or Economy Lot for more than six months will be towed.
- Check how full the lots are: YWG's parking page shows a live "Current parking status" for the Economy Lot, Parkade and Valet.
